“We are the East Los Angeles College robotics team entering the AUVSI RoboSub competition for the first time. Since we are a new team, we are designing, building, and figuring things out as well as setting a path for students to follow behind us. With a limited budget, limited resources, and limited facilities, this competition proves to be a daunting challenge. However, with unlimited imagination and a desire to learn and accomplish, we are making a name for ourselves in the surrounding community. We’ve assembled as a team because we all had a varying interest in robotics and ended up becoming really great friends. For this very reason, we have great team chemistry. That goes a long way when we have long build sessions!”
